Refund and Returns Policy

Change your mind?

You are welcome to change your mind and return or exchange any items purchased from Specimen Tackle within seven (7) working days of receiving your order. All that we require is that you return the products to us and that they are in the same sellable condition and packaging they were received in.

To return the product, simply follow the process on our Returns form on our site, alternatively you can call +27 83 236 8295 and speak with a customer service representative who will give you return information specific to the product you are returning and if you would prefer email, then simply email us on info@specimentackle.co.za

Received Incorrect Product?

If you have received wrong product in your parcel, firstly we would like to apologise for that and any inconvenience this may have caused. We try hard to ensure this doesn’t happen. Our products are checked 3 times in the pull and pack process before we send any parcel.

If an incorrect item is supplied, Specimen Tackle will exchange it for the correct one upon receipt of the returned product.

Special offers: If Specimen Tackle supplies the wrong product or if the product is in any way faulty or damaged, Specimen Tackle will exchange it for the correct one upon receipt of the returned product. However, if the product is no longer being offered at the special price, it will not be replaced and we will refund the buyer’s purchase price including delivery costs (online purchases only) upon receipt thereof.

Please notify Specimen Tackle within seven (7) working days of receiving your order. We will exchange it upon receipt of the returned incorrect product. Specimen Tackle will make a reasonable effort to supply the correct product, but if it is not possible, we will refund the purchase price including delivery cost upon receipt of the returned product.

Received a damaged product?

We are terribly sorry if this is the case. We try our best to ensure that every parcel that leaves us has sufficient protective packaging to make its journey in good order.

Videos and photos are extremely helpful in us getting clarity of the nature of the damage and you may be requested to supply us with this.

Please notify Specimen Tackle within seven (7) working days of receiving your order. Product is Faulty?

If your product is faulty as a result of a manufacturing defect, we are extremely sorry for this and any inconvenience this may have caused.

We try our best to ensure that this doesn’t happen by inspecting and testing the products before sending.

In this instance, Specimen Tackle will immediately take this up with the relevant supplier/manufacturer. This process and timing is dependant on the requirements of the suppliers. Upon confirmation from the supplier Specimen Tackle will either replace the product or if not possible, Specimen Tackle will then do a refund at the purchase price, including delivery cost (online purchases only) upon receipt of the returned product.

Please note: Goods are not guaranteed against faults resulting from misuse or normal wear and tear. If you return this to us as a manufacturing fault and it is found not to be that, you will be liable for the delivery and inspection charges related. We will try our best to help you understand if it is or isn’t to avoid this. (Videos and Photos are extremely helpful and we would suggest sending us these to assist better.)

Note that once opened, DVD’s will not be accepted for a refund and will only be replaced with another copy of the same product.
